Racism/Discrimination against US Charros

PRETTY disturbing to find out Mr. Rick Wren Jack is or once was an army official and a policemen.   I wonder how many "A.. hole Mexicans" he wrongly accused or used his authority against.
What's even more disturbing is that Nevada Voters For Animals clearly accepts racial comments like these along with others on their Facebook page but claim the horse roping  matter in Clark County isn't about discrimination or racism.

My personal concern is that these people (racist) are the ones singling out the "A.. Hole Mexicans" and are the ones going up to testify at Clark County commission hearings not because they believe in the horse's welfare but insist on their hate towards a specific community.

Every single person that has gone up to the commission board and given their concerns have NEVER attended a charreada to back up their statements and to truly say we that support charreria are BARBARIC.  They go off by what the activist sell them which are videos of horse tripping in MEXICO, Pictures from MEXICO, and ONE accidental fall in Winnemucca NV.  Other than that where's CLARK COUNTY proof of horse tripping and underground rodeos that supposedly are going on?  Where are the reports stating the number of horse's sent to slaughter from being used in manganas at charreadas?  So ask yourself what's their true motive on going up there and testify?

WHAT animal activist do best (sell a fictional story) Video not from US soil but from MEXICO!!!!!!!

Why don't they share the truth?!

Notice how no necks, jaws, backs & whatever else they claim to be broken occurs?  This is a video of a charreada that took place in CLARK COUNTY (more proof than animal activist have ever presented)... Also note how the TRAINED horse starts slowing down after being roped that is in fact what a fellow charro stated at the latest commissioner hearing which a lot of animal activist took as a lie.  As well as there being a charro on horse that trots in front of it to insure it to a complete stop.  The judge comments towards the end of the video and states: 22 total points awarded for the execution of catch and release!

LASTLY I want to share the following comments I found reading through different reports on the web in regards to horse roping in Clark County.  In no way is it appreciated to have someone telling you to go back to Mexico and if that wasn't enough, then them reminding you "we live in America" along with other unnecessary comments is very much racist. Below are only a FEW of many posted throughout the web:

Animal Activist quotes PRCA and AQHA against the US Charros

Animal Activist Margaret Crain made the mistake of trying to rebuttal without facts.  She quoted Alejandro Galindo Nevada President for the Mexican Federation of Charreria. “Mr. Galindo said he had a letter from the AQHA approving of breakaway horse roping”.  “Mr. Ward Stuntz from the AQHA Senior Breed Integrity said he contacted Mr. Galindo.”   What waits to be seen is if Mr. Stutz really in fact contact Mr. Galindo?  Maybe he should contact the 20,000 members of Charreria to see what their thoughts are starting with El SeƱor Lorenzo Vargas from Xtra Quarter Horses.

After reviewing the video from the meeting on August 6 what Mr. Galindo said was in rebuttal to some of the activist, as they had stated that PRCA and AQHA was against the ordinance change.  Mr. Galindo simply mentioned references on these organizations past stance on other similar legislation and approval on the issue of “catch and release”.  Where activist are getting this “breakaway roping” is beyond us.  He also stated how the Mexican Federation of Charreria USA is in constant contact with other rodeo and equine organizations and they abide by their own Animal Welfare Rules that resemble those in the industry.

“I called the International Andalusian Lusitano Horse Association that is the horse of choice for many of the charros” said Margaret Crain.  Earth to Margaret the horse of choice for the charro has always been the American Quarter Horse way before the breed was registered.  Every equestrian professional will tell you that the Quarter Horse came from the Thoroughbred which was first introduce to the Americas via the Spaniards.  While the harsh climate was too much for some breeds the thoroughbred (quarter horse) adapted.  Thus the horse of choice for the Chinacos and Charros was and still is the American Quarter Horse.

People have OSHA to protect them - If you haven't noticed already Margaret is lost.  OSHA is an agency that enforces Safety - Animal Control is the agency that enforces Animal Cruelty in Clark County.  Employers perform safety training following a safety program - The Rodeo/Equestrian Industry perform livestock management training following a livestock welfare program. When an incident occurs employers have their safety departments come in an investigate the incident. They assess the incident determine its casual factors and apply the corrective action to prevent reoccurrence. Does this mean the incident wont happen again?  Of course not they're called accidents for a reason.  OSHA only gets involved depending on the severity of the incident. Same thing happens when an incident takes place involving any participant in a Rodeo/Equestrian Event.  We don't abolish labor because its risky or unsafe we take a proactive approach and regulate the unsafe acts.  The same holds true for the Rodeo/Equestrian Industry we don't abolish a RODEO/EQUESTRIAN EVENT.

"Mr. Galindo said we were discriminating against Hispanics, no were not were discriminating against cruelty." said Margaret Crain.  Do I really need to answer this one as its self evident on the above picture or am I missing the picture here? Geesh!  Reminds me of you CAN drink out of this drinking fountain but you CAN'T!

Here is the Charlie Russell picture Margaret Crain referred to and was shown by Mr. Galindo.  We believe what Mr. Galindo was trying to demonstrate and accomplished was that this was and still is a part of the American Western Heritage Culture.

The relationship that Mr. Galindo and Toby de la Torre Preservation Director for the US Mexican Federation of Charreria have said to exist with others from the industry is very much in question.  Hopefully these organizations that are being mentioned by the activist like PRCA and AQHA will take a stance and provide a statement at least.  We urge our readers in the charro community that own AQHA horses to contact Mr. Stuntz.

Gina Greisen from Nevada Voters for Animals discrimanatory statement...

July 16, 2013 - After the commissioners meeting Gina Greisen President of Nevada Voters for animals caught up with Alejandro Galindo Jimenez Nevada President of the Mexican Federation of Charreria. While sharing point of views one of Gina's statements left us with our mouth open as it was very much discriminatory.
"regular rodeo is awful too but who in the hell is going to take on NFR" - Gina Greisen
So in other words her goal is to take down the Hispanic community (minority) ONLY!! How convenient!

This second video is proof of what animal activist Gina Greisen is all about.
"But try to take on NFR I mean that brings huge amounts of money to Southern Nevada."- Gina Greisen
Charreria may not bring much revenue to Las Vegas YET like NFR but does that mean we should be treated differently?  Apparently Gina believes so.  As she has stated numerous times before she is "Latina" and makes sure to make it a point every chance she gets.  In fact according to her,  her grandfather was from Mexico which is awesome that doesn't mean it rules out the fact that the statements made by her or her organization towards Charreria are in any way or form  NON-DISCRIMINATORY.
